The grapes were selectively harvested by hand on September 24, 2017, and October 31, 2017; spontaneously fermented on the skins with natural ambient yeasts; matured in two used wooden barrels – 550 liters made from Franconian Spessart oak and 400 liters made from French oak; aged for 20 months on the fine lees in barrels; only minimally sulfured; bottled unfined and unfiltered on June 29, 2018. The result is a very approachable wine – remarkably easy to drink for an orange wine – with a warm aroma, fine tannins, and an unexpected sweetness from the wood. Recommended not only for orange wine connoisseurs, but also for all new explorers.

Strongly aged mountain cheese meets a delicately tart and tangy quince chutney with subtle spice and warm spice notes. An aromatic snack for special moments of indulgence.

From a large glass – e.g. a Bordeaux or Burgundy glass – the powerful aromas come into their own best with more air.
