The grapes were harvested by hand on September 27, 2015; spontaneously fermented with natural ambient yeasts; aged in stainless steel tanks and bottled unfined and unfiltered on July 9, 2015. The 2015 Einsteiger is unmistakably a wine from a very warm year while remaining a classic, dry Franconian Silvaner. Its body features a certain richness, while the palate reveals salty herbal aromas alongside clear notes of yellow fruit. It brings the Thüngersheimer terroir and the 2015 vintage authentically into the glass—an experience even for those who have never tried a natural wine!
