The base wine for my Aufsteiger Sekt is - how could it be otherwise - spontaneously fermented, unfiltered, and unfined. Produced using traditional bottle fermentation, the batch was disgorged after 60 months on the lees. The result is an Aufsteiger Sekt brut nature with a clearly recognizable brioche note, a full body, and a creamy mouthfeel. A true delight not only as an aperitif, but above all as a food companion.

The delicate creaminess of fresh goat cheese and the subtle roasted aromas of caramelized pear melt together on crispy toasted baguette to create an elegant finger food.

From a large glass – e.g. a Bordeaux or Burgundy glass – the powerful aromas come into their own best with more air.
